I found out about karate through my cousin, Mr. Rich. I took a liking
to it right away and started classes in February 2004, when I was 12.
Here I am, now a senior in high school, and have been involved in karate for
nearly 2.5 years. Karate has helped me take care of myself, make new friends, try new things and not be afraid of things. It has helped me keep people away who mean me harm and how to survive in a fight when it happens. Karate has impacted my life a great deal.
