Thank you for your interest in North East T.A.I. Karate.
At our school, you will learn basic and advanced techniques of many diverse martial arts styles. We also teach that respect to others and self-discipline are the underlying foundations that any serious martial arts program must be built upon. A strong sense of family is one thing that separates us from many other dojos. Here, youngsters learn and work alongside parents and other adults, so that they may pattern off of appropriate behaviors.
We do not practice Martial Arts for sport. We do participate in tournaments once in a while, but only in smaller tournaments hosted by other family-friendly dojos. We would rather work on developing our students as individuals. We work to develop the skills to learn the art and real life application of the Martial Arts. This means self-defense application. That said, we do not overlook the value of competition, so long as it does not become the sole focus of one's training.
We offer our programs for children ages 5 and up as well as for adults. Sometimes we can accommodate younger students if they have achieved a sufficient level of maturity. We teach our students not only the philosophies and values of the Martial Arts at an age appropriate level, but also give them a way to apply these lessons to real life.
The strength of our lessons is that they connect the practice of Martial Arts with your day-to-day life. You are given the platform to actually apply what we discuss in class. This will help you see how Martial Arts is more than just a self-defense or exercise - it is a positive change to how you live your life.
We, at North East T.A.I. Karate, offer a family friendly facility located in Hillsboro, N.H., featuring:
Safety mats for our floors and the thickest carpet padding available.
Benches for parent and visitor viewing.
A separate room for storing equipment during classes.
All of our Black Belt Instructors have completed an Instructor Training program in addition to their regular martial arts studies.
What we offer is a one-of-a-kind experience in personal growth and education with our Martial Arts programs. Whether you are a 5-year-old TAIger or a 75-year-old adult student, we can help you to achieve more then you might currently think possible.
